Helping people stay safe and savvy online is a global issue but the most effective solutions are community oriented – how do we bridge that gap? This is one of the questions that will be posed by the Ofcom Making Sense of Media team at their Belfast event on June 21 where insights from Ofcom’s work on media literacy will be shared and there will be an opportunity to hear from local experts and connect with members of the MSOM network.
Ofcom’s Making Sense of Media programme provides a range of events including conferences, seminars and webinars, to share knowledge, expertise and awareness of their work. At each event Ofcom’s overall approach to media literacy will be presented, as well as a deep dive into a particular area of their work.
This event will take place in the MAC in Belfast from 9.45 to 11.30am. Check out the agenda for the Belfast event and don’t forget to register now!
