A talk to accompany The Glassroom Exhibition on Misinformation run by Dun Laogharie-Rathdown Library Service.
In a world where public service news broadcasting has come under threat, who do we trust? From politics to the pandemic, climate change to celebrity culture, how do we read information and react to it? Are you using your phone, or is it using you? And how safe is our data and privacy?
During this talk, Erika Csibi will explore the rise of fake news and misinformation, and how to spot them; ways to keep your identity more secure online; and good habits around smart devices
