The MEDEA Awards Organising Committee is thrilled to announce that the Call for Entries for the MEDEA Awards 2025 is officially open.
This annual competition, organised by the Media & Learning Association, recognises the best use of media in education across all levels. The awards also recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning and teaching materials, resources, tools, processes and services.
This year, the Organising Committee is especially welcoming entries focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative role in educational media. The AI in Education prize (a new prize starting 2025 on emerging trends) will highlight groundbreaking uses of AI in educational media production or application.
Judges will pay close attention to innovative AI-driven approaches that enhance learning experiences. They also continue to look for entries across a wide range of multimedia formats, including but not limited to:
- Videos
- Audio
- Graphics
- Games & Simulations
- AR/VR/XR apps
- Podcasts
- Vlogs
- Animations
- AI-powered tools, or any other innovative use of educational multimedia.
The deadline for entries is Friday, 28 February, and there is no submission fee.
